King’s Noodles warms my belly

The best place for Chinese food in Dallas is definitely debatable. Everyone has a different take on who serves the best duck, or the best fish belly soup, or the best stir-fry. King’s Noodle, on the other hand, is a favorite spot for a lot of Asian people for a quick and cheap meal that reminds them of home. Seriously. All the fobs go here. It’s definitely an indicator that this is legit. My favorite is the …

….beef noodle soup.

It’s one of those soups you just randomly crave on cold days and it always hits the spot. The beef is tender and it’s served with bok choy. A side of pickled veggies comes with it, and it just adds that perfect tang. I’m salivating as we speak. This stuff is the best.

I usually like a small appetizer before my large bowl of soup. It sounds disgusting to most people, but I don’t care. It’s sliced pig ear cartilage. I’m not a picky person and can stomach the idea of eating…well a pig ear. Can’t be a foodie, if you’re picky!!

Anyway, if you want to try this place out, sans the gross sounding appetizer, it’s located in Richardson at 201 S. Greenville Ave. The best time to go is for dinner since they have strange hours. The restaurant only accepts cash which is pretty inconvenient at first, until you try the food. Happy eating!
