The food truck culture continues to grow in Dallas and I haven’t been impressed with anything I’ve tried. From kimchi fries to banh mi sandwiches and tacos..none have left me feeling like I got my money’s worth.
After spending a day at Klyde Warren Park, I finally found one that wasn’t half bad. The Butcher’s Son boasts a menu of sliders and gourmet tatter tots to choose from. I went for a trio of sliders.
From left to right, I had the Mama Mia, a meatball and marinara slider, then the Southern Comfort, a chicken tender on mashed potatoes and gravy, and then the Mac n Beefy, mac n cheese over shredded marinated beef. I’m a sucker for Italian so I though the Mama Mia was the best one.
