For the past few days, I’ve been shamelessly living at Sip Stir Cafe for their internet. Uverse has once again failed me and I had a deadline to meet. The past few times, I’ve indulged in their hot coffee drinks, such as the Creme Brulee Latte and the Gingerbread Chai Latte. Both were delicious, but a little pricey. The specialty drinks ranged between $4.50 – $5.00, but for that creme brulee latte… I’m willing to pay.
When it comes to coffee, I usually have one, maybe two max, a day. Not much of an afternoon coffee drinker either. So when I realized that Sip Stir also offered tea that wasn’t just some lame overpriced tea bag in a hot cup of water, I was ecstatic. (Shame on you Starbucks. $2.14 for a tall tea?!? Puh-leaseeee).
Sip Stir offered quite a few different flavors of loose leaf teas. You had your standard Green Teas, Earl Grey, and breakfast teas. You also had other more exotic flavors. I opted for the Cherry Blossom White Tea and I was not disappointed. At $3.25 for a small tea pot, I was set.
The Cherry Blossom White Tea had such an amazing aroma. Sweet and light and I couldn’t get over how cute the darn glass pot was. I’m a fidgety sipper. When I’ve posted up in a cafe to get my blog on, I’m constantly sipping my drink out of some unconscious nervous habit to get my work done. I also do this with gum.
Definitely my favorite place to go to for a nice hot drink.
