Kitchen LTO opened its second “permanent pop-up” location in Trinity Groves and I had the pleasure of trying some of chef Eric Shelton’s new american dishes.
If you aren’t familiar with the concept, LTO, or Limited-Time Only, means the restaurant goes through four month cycles of new chefs and complete facelift to the restaurant interior. So while chef Shelton is still in the house, get you some! Once his cycle is over, it’ll be a completely different chef, menu, and decor. Love the concept.
I love the idea of going to Kitchen LTO and experiencing something different depending on how frequent or infrequent I go. A month or two from now, it could be a completely “new” restaurant. It is reincarnation in the best possible way.
Overall, the meal was delicious. A bit on the pricey side ($10 for a measly serving of eggs and hash? No thanks.), but everything was fresh and well thought out. I’d recommend going for the more adventurous stuff on the menu. I’d love to give you a more detailed review of the food, but this menu most likely won’t be there when you go. Stay hungry my friends!
