Mockingbird Bridge and Trail Community Event

Date: Sat., Nov 4th | Time: 8am-1pm | Location: Glencoe Park & Mockingbird Station | Cost: Free.

After months of anticipation, the Mockingbird Station Bridge and Trail over Mockingbird Lane is finally complete! Join us for a day of festivities as the bridge is unveiled!

Arrive at Glencoe Park between 8am – 9am to enjoy a variety of food trucks including Eggstand!

Starting at 9am, Former City Councilwoman Angela Hunt and City of Dallas Bicycle Transportation Manager Jared White will welcome guests and start the inaugural bike ride/walk across the bridge to Mockingbird Station. Enjoy a performance by Bridge the Gap Chamber Players at Mockingbird Station along with different tenants handing out food and promotional items between 10am – 1pm!

Barre Code Basics with Barre Code Design District

This is a great class for barre first-timers, those newer to barre or Barre Babes wanting to perfect their form and find that extra burn.

Barre to Bar (Barre Code to CycleBar)

You’ll begin with a 30-minute Barre class at The Barre Code, focusing on isometric movements that will challenge you from the inside-out, and then head to CYCLEBAR for a 30 minute ride that will push you to the limits while encouraging you through an invigorating concert feel!
After your workouts, you’ll be treated to swag from Athleta and Juice Bar Plano and stretched by Stretch Zone!
Barre to Bar is about a gathering of like-minded individuals who want to empower and inspire each other through health and wellness.
Everyone starts at The Barre Code and ends at CycleBar. Participants please choose one start time (10AM or 10:45):
*10AM Wave: Your workout starts at The Barre Code and then you will immediately head to CycleBar Lakeside for your 11AM Ride.

Gather, Flow & Glow; Beauty from the Inside Out

Join Whitness Nutrition for an invigorating morning of movement and nourishment for the body and mind; beauty from the inside, out! Start the morning with Eppie’s 60 minute Rockin’ Flow to empower and revitalize on Gather Kitchen’s expansive patio. This class will be centered around evoking positivity and a sense of strength, inside and out. Flavor-infused water will be available for hydration- we urge you to try the refreshing strawberry mint.

Outdoor Voices pop-up shop will be on site for any apparel you may desire pre/post workout. Plus, they’ll be raffling off an OV Kit.

Morning yoga will be followed by a Whitness Nutrition approved protein-rich post-workout bowl created by Gather Kitchen. Tickets cover the price of yoga & a bowl + one protein. Each participant will receive an exclusive nutrition guide and one Outdoor Voices raffle entry. We encourage you to bring your own yoga mat. Parking is available in Thanksgiving Tower, tickets may be validated by Gather Kitchen.

Young Texans RACE Against Cancer 5k, 10k, and Fun Run

(registration goes up to $40 & $45 day of the race)
Each racer will receive a swag bag full of coupons by vendors, power crunch bar, DFW magazine and other goodies.
Each racer will get a t-shirt and a medal for finishing.
There will be 1st,2nd,3rd winners for the age groups, trophies will be given out at the end.
Medical City is hosting a kid area with face painting, clowns, games and prizes.
Many vendors with food and giveaways, DJ and music.
YTRAC benefits Camp iHope.  Camp iHope gives children with cancer and their siblings the chance to go to camp for a week and be a normal kid.  It doesn’t matter if they don’t have hair or are going through chemo they are around kids just like them.

NOV Shack Track & Field Dallas

Open to all ages and abilities, Shack Track & Field hosts free community runs on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. Best part: your first drink back at the Shack is on the house!

They’ll lock your gear up tight at the Shack so it’s waiting for you when you get back.

Silent Disco Yoga or Night Run in West Village

Dallas Fitness Ambassadors and West Village invite you to our final silent disco event of the year. Choose from a 55-minute invigorating yoga flow or a 3-mile night run around West Village and Katy Trail.

Head to The West Village Courtyard (by Miniluxe and Lorna Jane) for a fun Silent Disco sweat experience. Slip on noise-cancelling headphones and get lost in the music during your flow or run. There’s limited spaces for both the yoga class and the run. Both activities will take place at the same time and will conclude in a fun fall party in the Courtyard. The photo opps are going to be awesome.

We’ll have wonderful West Village vendors there for post-workout goodies, treatments, and bites, live DJ, and more. Each guest will receive drink tickets for complimentary MichelobULTRA at a nearby restaurant.

6:30-7:30 = A goat yoga class, taught by one of the best yoga instructors around! It’s all levels, beginner friendly.
7:30-9:30 = Social begins, Hang Time & Play Time! Enjoy extra selfie/play time with the cuties, cool down with your choice of beer or wine (1st one is included with your ticket) and live music.

Hustle and Flow Free Workout in Austin Ranch

It can be intimidating to attend a yoga class if you are SUPER SEXY (plus-sized), but let that be no more. We are proudly offering Plus Size Asana for all body sizes and shapes to come to the mat in a comfortable and accepting setting to practice yoga.

Ebony Smith will lead this experience that will offer modifications and adjustments to fit everyone’s needs so that you can explore the poses and breathe deeply, with confidence.

Yoga has no shape, no size and no judgement. It is a journey of self connecting with each breath! In this class we will focus on the breath, and use props to flow move between and explore a variety of poses.
