As a content creator and entrepreneur, I’m always looking for ways to connect with my audience by sharing my life through brand partnerships and by learning as much as possible. I recently attended Sproutsfest Educational Summit and it blew my mind. I totally geek out at conferences for multiple reasons: it’s an opportunity to get face time with my favorite brands, learn more about their initiatives, and get to know their people. There’s only so much relationship building that can be done through email, ya know?
Me and a few other other Dallas influencers were invited to the exclusive expo and conference. Sproutsfest brings together 500 of their own partners for 3 days of product education. They created a special one day educational summit just for influencers like myself to meet and network with brands from the beauty, food and supplement industry and it was like Disneyland for me. Today, I’m sharing 3 highlights from the Sproutsfest.
Hanging out with the Sprouts Team
Since the group was small, about 10 of us, it was really nice getting one-on-one time with the Sprouts team. We chatted over breakfast, lunch, and throughout the sessions. I loved that they took the time to put this together for us and believe in investing in their current partners. What more could an influencer ask for? I also really enjoyed learning about the Sprouts Foundation and how they offer neighborhood grants to local companies in each city.
The TableTop Show
Remember when I said there would be 500 brands at the show? OH MY GOD. This was the best thing everrrrr and I hear it’s not even the most insane show out there. The Sprouts team warned us that we’ll have plenty of goodies to take home. My arms almost lost circulation because I was carrying so many bags. It wasn’t even because I was asking for items, but because vendors were just handing out BAGS of product. It was so fun going through the rows of vendors, connecting with new brands and saying hi to friends.
Plus, it was also a great way for me to practice my pitching. I got over the nerves pretty quickly and remembered how much I loved it. It’s about putting yourself out there. I wished I had more time to explore and to take my time, but we were all trying to meet as many people as possible. Seriously, would love to do this again!
Hands on demo’s with top brands
I really enjoyed the short demos put on by 4 companies Sprouts works closely with. It was a pleasure to hear more about the story behind these companies, ask questions, and get hands on with their product. We had a chance to hang out with Foodstirs, Vital Proteins, Bobo’s, and Megafoods. They provided some product for us to take home and it was great getting to know them better.
All in all, what a phenomenal learning experience. I loved connecting with Sprouts, their brand partners and the other influencers. I walked away richer in friends and perspective. Looking forward to sharing more love for Sprouts through future projects. Thanks so much Sprouts for having me!
