My boss hosted her birthday soiree at Max’s Wine Dive in Uptown. I’ve tried the fried chicken and a variety of good eats from their extraordinary brunch menu from previous visits, so I was not worried coming back again for dinner.
The chicken sliders and the mac n cheese were my favorite. I mean, my gluten-intolerant coworker indulged in the mac n cheese and announced the allergic reaction to the wheat as worth the pain.
The bison sliders…not so much. It was missing something. Kinda bland actually. I guess The fried chicken joint should just stick to what they know.
