I am loving this cooler weather and it makes date nights out on the town so much more enjoyable. There are so many cool events happening in Dallas and I love partaking in unique experiences. The boyfriend and and I had ourselves the Ultimate Cocktail Experience at Klyde Warren Park and it was perfect.
The Ultimate Cocktail Experience is a charity pop up event and this year’s theme was Cocktails from All Around The World. This year, they brought together 100 bartenders to team up and create 40 different cocktails inspired by 5 different countries. All proceeds benefitted Trigger’s Toys. This year’s event was a poshy event held at Klyde Warren Park and it was great!Tickets were $65 a pop and that got you unlimited drinks, access to the entire venue, and even a single food truck item. Totally worth it to sample so many different cocktails. Being a charity event made it even more worthwhile. Trigger’s Toys reduces financial and emotional stress on chronically ill children and their families by providing financial assistance and supplemental programming. Last year, UCE raised $130,000.
With 5 bars to visit during the event, each bar would represent a different country and each team would develop their menu, decor, and theme. Guests would be able to sample cocktails inspired by Africa, South America, North American, Asian, and Europe.
North America had a fun circus event with their bartenders all decked out. I really liked their cocktails and the ice cream they were handing out.
Europe brought a very Alice in Wonderland theme with fun costumes and vibes. They had this amazing lit up chess board and giant teacups.
Africa was popping the entire night. I loved their costumes too. Africa showcased a safari theme they really brought to life. The lines were long all night long!
Not to be bias, but Asia was my favorite. This Philippino Tiki was my absolutely favorite and it used Rumchata and an interesting yogurt for a creamy and delicious cocktail.
South America featured such a fun tiki bar. I loved that it was so well put together and it wasn’t cheesy. They sold out before the nights end.
The boyfriend and I hopped bar to bar and enjoyed delicious full sized cocktails. We definitely had our favorites in North America, Asia and South America. I loved the theme and the decor that brought this event to life. I loved how spread out all the bars were. I’m not a fan of being pushed around and it kept it fun and casual. There were plenty of cocktail tables, lounge areas, and more for drinking and visiting.
I was super grateful for the food truck item. Needed some nosh in my stomach while sipping some sneakily strong cocktails. I would totally go back next year. It’s one of the more well-done spirits/drink events I’ve attended. I opted to do this instead of a Whiskey Festival and I’m so glad I did. Amidst all the chaos, all the bartenders I spoke with were fun and so hospitable.
Which country would you be most interested in trying at the Ultimate Cocktail Experience? Leave me a comment and tell me!
To share my experiences at the Ultimate Cocktail Experience, I received 2 media passes to cover the event. All opinions are my own.
