I had a really fun opportunity to work with My Fit Foods and attend an event that combined my two loves: food and fitness. And what better than to support my dear friend Lea of Running with Ollie who would be leading a 30 minute workout.
My Fit Foods is a healthy prepared foods company with tons of locations around Dallas. The Pay Fit Forward campaign encourages people to head to their stores on Fridays where you can buy one meal and gift one to a friend or donate it to the partnered charity. You can learn more about it here.
For this event at My Fit Foods, influencers, bloggers, and fitness enthusiasts were invited to attend and participate in a short workout followed by food tasting and a Q&A with a nutritionist.
The workout was the perfect end to my incredibly long day. I loved the buddy workouts and thought that was such a great way to get everyone to break the ice and make new friends.
Were we hungry after the workout? Um, yes! We were all able to fuel up after class and take home a few meals for the road. One of my biggest issues is eating properly after a workout so it was nice to have this right then there. Keeps me from making bad decisions like pizza and any other carb heavy favorite.
I also enjoyed learning more about the brand and their offerings. It was great being able to mingle with friends and other fellow bloggers.
At the end of the night, we all took home so great goodie bags and a clear conscience of all the good choices we made that evening. It was great meeting the My Fit Foods team and seeing some familiar faces that night too.
